Overview:

The Store Incharge is responsible for managing the overall operations of the store or warehouse, including inventory management, staff supervision, and ensuring the safe and efficient handling of goods. This role involves coordinating with various departments to ensure the timely availability of materials and supplies, maintaining accurate records, and upholding safety and compliance standards.

Role & responsibilities:

  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and supplies in the store or warehouse.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels, conducting regular stock counts, and updating inventory databases.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supply and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Ensure that all goods are properly handled, stored, and organized according to safety standards and company policies.
  • Supervise and manage store staff, including warehouse workers, stock clerks, and material handlers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all store activities, including inventory levels, goods received, and goods dispatched.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on store operations, including inventory status, stock movements, and any discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with the procurement department to manage the purchase of store supplies and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and external partners to manage deliveries and resolve any issues.
