Biography
Mr. Cibi Jacob completed his Civil Engineering degree from the College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University, Chennai. He went to pursue his master’s in Structural Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi.
He was the recipient of the prestigious DAAD Sandwich Model Scholarship for taking up research work in Germany. He had carried out extensive research in the field of Earthquake Engineering at the Technical University of Dresden, Germany. His research interests include Earthquake Resistant Design of Structures, Seismic Reliability, and Performance-based Design. Number of his works have been published in international journals. He has actively participated in many conferences and workshops in the field of Civil Engineering.
He has worked with diverse projects scattered all over India. He was employed at Larsen and Toubro Construction division, where he has made significant contributions to many large scale industrial projects. His rich experience and deep technical expertise is reflected in his work.
He holds membership in the Institute of Engineering and is a registered chartered engineer, registered structural grade 1 engineer in CMDA, DTCP, and GCC, as well as a licensed surveyor.
